Man United had a brilliant 2024 summer transfer window. In fact, it was a breath of fresh air to witness the Red Devils locate the players they needed and stop at nothing to sign them.

Despite having a net spend of just €111.5m in the summer transfer window, Man United look like a much better squad. They have plenty of depth in positions which may have eluded them last season, so investment well spent.

However, Man United have still started the 2024/25 season poorly. They have picked up just a measly three points and lost their last two games. Currently, they sit 14th in the Premier League table.

That said, Man United are already thinking ahead to the future and they have located a transfer target for 2025.

According to a report from Manchester Evening News, Man United are monitoring a potential transfer for Eberechi Eze of Crystal Palace. The England international has a £68m release clause and could be one of four huge transfer plans for Man United next summer.

Eberechi Eze has started in all three of Crystal Palace's opening Premier League fixtures. In fact, he even scored a goal against Chelsea in the most recent match. He was also involved for England in their most recent international fixture against Ireland, coming off the bench.

Eze has an insanely high ceiling and he is fulfilling it well. He now ages at 26 and he will be 27 years old by the time Man United plan to pursure him. Therefore, the aim is clearly to unlock his prime years at Old Trafford.

It is understandable that Crystal Palace tried their hardest to keep Eze in the 2024 summer transfer window. After all, they had already lost Michael Olise to Bayern Munich, so losing two key players would have been less than ideal.
