Rasmus Hojlund has shared an exciting Man United injury update, which will definitely appeal to every Man United fan, eagerly cheering him on.

Rasmus Hojlund has not appeared for Man United yet this season. Unfortunately, he picked up an injury in pre-season, meaning he had to miss the start.

Without a doubt, Hojlund would have been watching Man United's poor start to the season and thinking of ways he will improve the squad when he comes back. This is the nature of his high-achieving mentality, after all.

Well, Man United fans may not have to wait too much longer to see the Danish international back in action. In an exciting social media post, Rasmus Hojlund revealed a key Man United injury update.

Posting to his Instagram account, Rasmus Hojlund shared a photo of himself back in training. As expected, he was in high spirits to be training with the squad again.

Not that he needed to post a caption to confirm his emotions about being back out there touching grass, but his caption will also add the cherry on the cake for Man United fans.

In his own words, Rasmus Hojlund said: “I guess being a football player the caption should be 'happy to be on the pitch again', but I think the photo says it all.”

And indeed, the photo does say it all. Hojlund is a great character who loves to play the beautiful game. Fans know this already. However, seeing him so happy to be back is like a breath of fresh air.

Not that Man United have been woeful but they have missed plenty of clear goal-scoring opportunities. It is in those opportunities that fans have thought "sigh, I wish Hojlund was given that chance."

So, could this signify the end of Man United's poor injury record? Well, I am cautious about speaking too soon on that regard.
