Chelsea set two transfer conditions to sign Man United winger
By Kian Long
Chelsea are currently linked with a move for Man United winger Jadon Sancho. However, the Blues will only sign Sancho, if one of two conditions are met.
That famous day has come. It is the Premier League transfer deadline day. So, this means that any transfer deals Erik ten Hag decides to make at Man United must be wrapped up by 11pm, BST.
So far, Man United should be over the moon with their transfer proceedings. They have strengthened in key areas and proved that the owners are capable of putting their money where their mouths are.
However, the future of Jadon Sancho must now be addressed. What is the latest news on his links to Premier League rivals Chelsea?
Chelsea set two transfer conditions to sign Man United winger
According to a report from TEAMTALK, Chelsea require one of two conditions from Man United in order for them to sign Jadon Sancho.
Chelsea have asked for Man United to either sign one of their players in return, or allow for a loan move for Jadon Sancho. This is due to Chelsea's attempts to stay in line with Profit and Sustainability rules.
Also, it is worth noting that Chelsea would need a lower-than-planned transfer fee included in the loan-to-buy option.
To be frank, there is only one option for Man United. The loan offer should not even be entertained, since Man United would receive no benefit from it.
It remains to be seen whether Man United are interested in signing any Chelsea player. However, they essentially would have an unlimited pool of options to sift through, so there must be at least one.
It goes without saying that this transfer deal will progress as the day goes on. The consensus seems to be that Man United MUST sell Jadon Sancho, or at least resolve his future by 11pm BST.
Where do you think Jadon Sancho will play this season?
