Alejandro Garnacho continues to be linked with a Manchester United exit nearly a year on from the crucial role he played in the club's FA Cup triumph. The Argentine winger netted the opener in a 2-1 win against Manchester City in the final at Wembley in May last year.
Fast forward eight months and the 20-year-old's future at Old Trafford is in major doubt. The Red Devils academy graduate is wanted by Napoli to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, while Chelsea have held talks to sign the attacker.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Napoli's opening offer of a €50m package add-ons included isn't enough to convince United. The Serie A giants' manager Antonio Conte is said to have spoken to Garnacho about a move.
Chelsea are considering making a bid after holding internal talks. The Blues continue to target young attackers despite the strong pool of wingers they already have in Enzo Maresca's squad.
Manchester United Could Make £180 Million From Alejandro Garnacho Sale

It will be a shame to see Garnacho leave if Manchester United sell the Argentina international before the winter transfer window closes on February 3. Many thought he was one for the future but PSR is dictating INEOS co-ownership and putting several first-team players up for sale.
However, if the Red Devils were to sell Garnacho for £60m (€70m), they reportedly could then spend £180 m because of PSR, per Sky Sports. This is significant as it will allow Ruben Amorim to conduct a much-needed squad rebuild with a cash injection that can be used to attend to several areas of the team.
Manchester United are expected to strengthen at left wing-back. Leece's Patrick Dorgu is on the club's radar and is the subject of talks over a potential move. A Garnacho sale makes the Danish youngster's acquistion much more likely because the Reds are looking to spend around €25m-30m (£21.1m -25.3m) on him, per Ben Jacobs.
A new forward is also wanted but PSR makes this difficult unless a sale like Garnacho's takes place. Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford and Matheus Cunha of Wolves are two of the attackers reportedly being monitored, per Daily Mirror (via Sky Sports). Again, these players are going to fetch signifcant fees given they are two of the Premier League's in-form frontmen.
Thus, a Garnacho sale becomes that much more enticing when considering how much money can be re-invested into Amorim's team. It would help the Portuguese coach kickstart his reign with ideal signings.
