Ruben Amorim's Manchester United side desperately needs some results. Good results will help the team bring in new signings over the summer. While the club has been linked to different players throughout the season, Amorim has been given good news on two accounts.

Positive talks surrounding Wolverhampton's Matheus Cunha

United just played Wolverhampton and lost 1-0. While the goal came from a stunning free-kick from Pablo Sarabia, Wolves' forward Matheus Cunha was under close scrutiny by Manchester United. Amorim is looking into signing the Brazilian forward, who wants to leave Wolves.

While other sides are also keen on keeping an eye on the number ten, Cunha is reportedly interested in joining Manchester United. The Brazilian is better suited to play in Amorim's preferred system than other United players. He is also a proven goalscorer, which is something Amorim is lacking in Rasmus Hojlund and the injured Joshua Zirkzee.

The forward has a price tag of around £64m, and United will be offloading a number of players in the summer to help fund transfers of priority signings.

First agreement made with Napoli star Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen and Manchester United have reportedly agreed to personal wages for the forward. Amorim is keen on bringing in the striker alongside Cunha to bolster his side's poor attacking options.

Osimhen has a release clause of £64million, similar to Cunha. The striker is lethal in front of goal, which is a much-needed boost as Hojlund and Zirkzee only have six goals between them in the Premier League this season. In the Turkish league for Galatasary, where he is on loan, Osimhen has 21 goals in 25 games to go along with four assists.

Previously wih Napoli, Osimhen had double digit numbers for goals in all four seasons in the Serie A. His highest tally came with 26 goals in 32 games. This threat will provide Manchester United with a huge boost going into Amorim's first full season.
