Marcus Rashford is a good footballer there's no disputing that, but it's time for Manchester United to part ways with the English forward. Once heralded as the brightest attacking talent to emerge from the Red Devils' academy, it's, unfortunately, fair to say Rashford has failed to live up to expectations.
Ruben Amorim is Rashford's fifth permanent manager and eighth overall coach in his Old Trafford career at senior level. He relishes a fresh start each time a new reign commences as seen under Erik ten Hag when he bagged 30 goals and nine assists in the Dutchman's debut season.
Yet, Rashford came off the boil, unsurprisingly, as Ten Hag's tenure turned tumultuous. He didn't even post a farewell message when his former manager was sacked last month. He's been in the public eye as the face of Manchester United, which has brought a ton of trials and tribulations. It's obviously, time the club accepted that Rashford is better off departing

Manchester United need to move on from Marcus Rashford

Rashford hit the opener in Amorim's first game in charge of Manchester United in a 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town. He got on the end of Amad Diallo's slick cross to give the Reds an early lead. That was basically his only contribution in the game as he went missing, failing to effect proceedings leading the line.
The 27-year-old isn't young anymore, and his experience should have given him more purpose in his game. He looked lethargic and uninterested at times, which tells of his mentality at the moment.
Manchester United fans, for the most part, adore Rashford and cherish his rise in 2015 under Louis van Gaal. Many hoped he'd become the heir to Wayne Rooney but that hasn't happened as he's been too inconsistent.
What an incredible honour to win both the Sir Matt Busby and Player’s ‘Player Of The Year’ awards tonight. To have the support of both the fans and my teammates means the world - I couldn’t do it without you all. Thanks to the manager & all the staff for their phenomenal help ❤️ pic.twitter.com/BXaVUIQwWU

Amorim wants players who play with passion and urgency and these aren't two of Rashford's main traits. He's a confidence player who relies on his positive mood to shine rather than dragging his team out of dark periods. The Portuguese coach's reign will be well and truly underway if the last of the Glazer-ish era on the pitch ends with the 60-cap England international departing.
PSG interested in Marcus Rashford

It's a running theme each year when Rashford is struggling: Gives an inspirational quote regarding bouncing back, a purple patch, and transfer speculation. He's always mentioned as a potential PSG acquisition and that's again the case.
TEAMTalk reports that PSG boss Luis Enrique is eyeing Rashford in January to help bolster his attack. The player's representatives met with the Ligue 1 giants in the summer and could recommence talks over a potential switch.
🗣️ “He’s another player who’s amazing and for free? To have Rashford for free, every club will run after him.”

Rashford moving to PSG is the perfect ending for all parties involved:
Manchester United can get to work completely overhauling Amorim's attack while perhaps making a pretty penny with talk of a potential £50-70 million price range.
Rashford can prove his doubters wrong and take the baton from Kylian Mbappe at the Parc des Princes.
Amorim won't be under pressure to choose United's highest earner Rashford, and can start painting the team in his image.
Time to turn to Viktor Gyokeres

A Rashford sale opens the door for a new blockbuster signing to replace him at Old Trafford, and Viktor Gyokeres should be that man. If you want to get the Reds back among Europe's elite, then go and sign the best goalscorer in the continent.
Gyokeres, 26, is in red-hot form with 24 goals in 20 games and knows Amorim well. He played under the Portuguese coach at Sporting CP and a reunion makes sense. He might be put off by United's recent struggles but could be enticed to lead a new era, as Rio Ferdinand suggested when talking up the potential transfer.
