Manchester United hold talks with free agent who played World Cup final
According to a report from Caught Offside, Manchester United are actively working on their next transfer, as the club has been in contact with Adrien Rabiot and his mother, who represents him. It must be said that Adrien Rabiot is receiving plenty of interest, not just Man United. The likes of Aston Villa, Chelsea, Liverpool, Galatasary and Newcastle are also wanting to sign him.
Further reported in the Caught Offside article is that Manchester United lead the race for Adrien Rabiot. They are aware of the hefty competition from clubs across Europe, however, talks between Man United and Rabiot's representatives are believed to be positive. So, United are confident they can beat the competition to sign Rabiot.
In the past, Adrien Rabiot has been under fire for his displinary concerns. In fact, he has been pretty difficult to pin down and he's known to be hot-headed. That said, Manchester United fans know that if anyone can control an ego in the dressing room, it's Erik ten Hag. The Dutch manager doesn't stand for nonsense, which was demonstrated with Jadon Sancho towards the beginning of last season.
Adrien Rabiot has great experience at this stage of his career. Coming through the Paris Saint-Germain setup and most recently playing for Juventus, Rabiot has played alongside some of the best players in the world. He has won five Ligue 1 titles, one Serie A and started in the 2022 World Cup final, when Argentina beat France.
